About Us

Oldroyd Realty is a husband and wife team based out of Mission Viejo, CA.  I guess you can say that we are two agents for the price of one!  We assist buyers, sellers, home owners and renters in Orange County, Los Angeles County, Riverside County, San Bernardino County and San Diego County. And we can also serve your mortgage needs for the entire state of California.

Our role is to guide you through the processes of leasing, buying, selling, or financing real estate. We take the time to make absolutely sure that you understand and are updated for every step of your transaction. We at Oldroyd Realty are committed to fulfilling your needs with the highest level of professionalism, expertise and service.

Besides the real estate industry, our other passions are being green and our two recycled (rescued) Boston Terriers, Bentley and Pickle. We adopted them from www.BostonBuddies.org based out of Huntington Beach, CA.  Bentley is on the left and Pickle is on the right.  They are a constant source of entertainment, exercise and fun.  Bentley is the cuddle bug and you can easily find him sun bathing or curled up near our feet. Pickle is full of energy and will play fetch for hours...and chase the occasional cat that comes sauntering into our back yard.   
 
The green lifestyle is always an ongoing project for Oldroyd Realty.  We have taken it beyond recycling and being energy efficient.  My husband has converted a 1985 Mercedes diesel sedan to run on waste vegetable oil(WVO).  It sounds crazy, doesn't it?  But if you search engine, Rudolf Diesel, you'll see that this is a very old concept. 

The idea came to us after I received my "GREEN" designation from National Association of Realtors®.  I was driving home in my stereotypical real estate agent SUV and while fuel efficient, it just wasn't the right message I wanted to give to my clients.  My husband researched our options and came up with the genius idea of modifying a diesel vehicle.  We get our WVO from different sources and we filter it in our garage.  The final product is then put into and auxiliary tank in the trunk and off we go.  If you decide to buy a home, we will certainly escort you around in our veggie mobile!
